  • has presented numerous workshops related to the integration of technology in the classroom at the state, regional and national level

  • was Lead Trainer in a RITTI '00 ISS program (Intensive School Support) - varied discipline areas
  • was Lead Trainer for a RITTI '00 Network Leadership Program for foreign language teachers
  • has been an adjunct professor for Rhode Island College, teaching Intermediate Spanish and Readings in Intermediate Spanish
  • has been trained as a MCI Worldcom Marco Polo Field Trainer (Internet Content for the Classroom)
  • been lead trainer and project developer on several projects to help teachers integrate technology into their daily work
  • written four grants which were funded by the following organizations--The Champlin Foundation, The Rhode Island Department of Education
  • been co-author/co-editor of the monthly newsletter RITTI LINKS, which is sponsored by the Rhode Island        Department of Education, the Rhode Island Foundation, and the RITTI program
  • helped to train URI professors to utilize available technologies in the PT3 program (Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers for Technology)
  • been the project director for Project RESULTS, a model classroom initiative at my school which provided intense training for teachers in technology, and who then helped their students produce electronic portfolios
  • has established and managed a number of educational listservs--RIFLA-L, CUHS-L, and ESPRI-L to foster electronic collaboration among teachers and students
  • has chaired two NEASC self-studies and follow-up studies (1983, 1988,  co-chair 1993, 1998)
